Sonora Ruidosa

This project is a classic platform game developed for Camila Queiroz and João Gabriel Course final project of Digital Media at PUC-RJ.


In this game player has the mission to recover the stolen instuments of Jazz City, that was stolen by sound noise monsters.


This project was developed in XNA and C#.

Actiview

This game was developed for Microsoft Imagine Cup 2011 competition.


Actiview is a game about transform normal people in contributors and activists for a better world based on the ideas of the NGO called Green and Blue installed in the Month River city. Their idea is that everyone has a talent and nobody likes a boring task that has nothing to do with him, involvement is the key, to change the mind of this people you have to position your activists on strategic points of the map to approach the people who pass by, and than convince they to join our cause. More people have joined your cause, more activists you will have to make even more people join your cause.




This project was developed in XNA and C#.

Green and Blue


Green and Blue was first developed in a Global Game Jam 2011.
But later concept was improved and developed for Microsoft Imagine Cup 2012

In green and blue your job is to manage the air planes to cease wildfire that consume the forest.

Overview

You are member of a Green and Blue task force team, team formed by people who got tired of waiting for governments' attitudes and decided to act for himself before it was too late, and you are the responsible to manage a fire combat team, your job is manage routes, number of airplanes and actions of your air squadron, combating and eliminating wildfires, repairing and replanting forest areas improving the air quality (Temperature too, by consequence of global warming) reducing CO2 emissions and grow production of O2, all of this just using new technologies to help maintain Environment Sustainability, one of ONU Millennium Development Goals.

Global Game Jam version:


H.I.V.E.


H.I.V.E. was developed for the Third XNA Challenge, that it was the champion by critics and audience, and for the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2009.

H.I.V.E. is a CitySim3D game where the player control a super computer called H.I.V.E. that manage aid operations in remote critical scenario.


 

Developed technologies:
  • 3D particle engine;
  • HLSL Shader effects(Water, Cartoon Shading);
  • Time Controller(All game elements, including graphics elements like water, can be be paused and accelerated dynamically)
  • Hybrid Controls(Game action can be managed by keyboard and mouse or XBOX 360™ controller)
  • Dynamic Interface.

Parachutist


Game developed in XNA in 48 hours for Global Game Jam 2009

In this game the objective of the player is to control the movement of two parachutists at same time making them pass through respective rings.

This is my first 3D game project, was developed in first XNA version in early 2007.

I modeled all the models in old version of 3Ds max

The first XNA didn't has a support for sprite font, so I created 3D models of each characters of Radioland font so I could represent label in the game!

This is a classic Shooter game where the player has the control of a modern jet fighter plane, together with your squadron the objective is to destroy the maximum possible number of UFO.

This game is a classic Shoot ‘Em Up that I develop for XNA for Microsoft Second XNA Challenge in the end of 2007.


 In this game you are a insane forest protector, and your job is to stop the forest destruction caused by the lumberers killing all of them and scaping of theirs traps!

Project Dwellers




This project I developed alone in only a week for the Microsoft Imagine Cup 2010 competition.

In Project Dwelles you are a mayor of city, in this city people had a magic board that highlight easily for you, the mayor, what is the neighbourhood greatest necessity of this region.

And your objective is to help find solve the problems of most necessited regions in a puzzle style game!

Calk

Simple calculator developed in C# for study purpose!





Calk was developed in march 2007 with Visual Studio 2005 with C# programming language.

This game is a simplified Football Club manager game based upon games like Elifoot and Brasfoot, the only finished part of this game was the data editor and game concepts.

Ubisoft cada vez olha mais para o Brasil


Hoje foi um dia histórico para o mercado de games brasileiro!

Com a notícia de que a Ubisoft vai montar um estudio de desenvolvimento no Brasil. Ela entra nesse país que tem tudo pra transformar num polo da area por possuir um povo criativo e que trabalha com salarios menores do que os de paises desenvolvidos, por causa do menor custo de vida, que com isso os custos de desenvolvimento aqui são menores, essa Parceria tem tudo pra ser um sucesso.
Mas não é de hoje que ela começa a olhar para as terras tupiniquins, ele chegou a abrir um escritorio para marketing em nosso país, mas isso todo mundo já sabe e o que eu percebi e não vi ninguem falar, são dois jogos da Ubisoft que tem o Brasil no enredo, Haze e Tom Clancy's Hawx.


Haze - este jogo já foi lançado para PS3 feito pela Free Radical e não foi tão bem aclamado pela critica.

No primeiro trailer desse jogo que saiu na E3 de 2006, ele mostrava no fim quando o soldado ficava com um ataque de raiva, por causa da injeção de hormonios que era aplicada pela sua armadura em seu organismo, nessa cena aparece no fundo a famosa Maravilha do Mundo Moderno, o Cristo Redentor, mas com apenas um braço, ou seja, ele está no Rio de Janeiro.









Tom Clancy's Hawx - Este ainda está para lançar neste ano, será um simulador de caças feito pela Ubisoft Bucareste que possui um de seus cenários no Brasil.
